Layla Luo Jian is a Chinese director who draws inspiration from the world around her to convey feelings such as isolation in her visual storytelling. Her short films are driven by a desire to explore versions of the world unseen, and have been elected by numerous international film festivals. Martell Home Encounters is a video series celebrating audacious people in their environment through a passionate conversation with special guests.
